  1. Ok so NO to develop under the oval but what are the alternatives?

    I also think the idea of greening the Whistler Street car park is excellent. I am totally against the building of a new car park, especially under the oval. It will flood. Manly Council will be liable for car damage. I also can't see how commercial buildings along Whistler Street will really be any better than a spruced up car park, and at least with the latter the Council would then still retain ownership. If the Council does insist on the current proposed plan, perhaps Candy you could request that the Wentworth Street car park is only available for free to Manly residents? At least that may help the local businesses a little with the resident shoppers.
