    An infantile idea! Knock the thing down, build under the Oval as the Council plans and turn more of the existing roads and lanes into pedestrian areas to the benefit of the citizens of the town and the shop-owners

    Total agreement! The marvelous reputation is spoiled by the ghastly indulgent behavior of the town's dog owners.

    Spot on! More walking by those who live in and visit Manly is good for everyone! The resident who gets his or her exercise - able to beat the 10,000 paces a day recommended for good health. The visitor who sees and values more of Manly the world-beating beach resort (with ocean and harbor beaches) The shopkeeper who has more eyes lingering on his or her goods or services followed by purchases!

    Who cares "what is going to happen to the dogs?" The first priority in Manly should be "people" - those who live here and those, highly valuable, visitors who propel the wealth of the suburb.
