We need something like the Roseville Bridge to replace the Spit Beidge at Middle Harbour.

In peak times the bottle-neck extends all the way to Wanganella Street and halfway down Burnt Bridge Creek deviation.

It took me fifteen minutes to drive at a crawl along Sydney Road from West Street to Manly Road and the crawl continued all the way to the Ourimbah Road turn-off the the pace picked up to something like 40kph.

This is daily ordeal by road is not acceptable.

The Spit Brodge shod have been upgraded thirty plus years ago.

My Grandpa - who was a driver based at Brookevale bus depot - was complaining about the bottleneck in the 1970s.

I am willing to pay a toll to fund the overdue construction of a new Spit Bridge that is perhaps not unlike the Roseville Bridge.

I think many other road users would feel the same.

We need to maybe even start a Crowd Funded lobby group to finance and coordinate an effort to have our voices heard.
