We can only hope that Manly Council can provide sufficient security personell to stop New Years Eve Party goers from urinating, defecating, drug taking, copulating and other anti-social behaviour on local residents properties along East and West Esplanade by the minority of party goers who spoil a fantastic evening for 99 pc of revellers who recognise that private property does not mean the public can trespassdo participate in anti-social behaviour.

Seeing that it is several years since Manly Council was amalgamated with the other aNorthern Beaches Council and considering the length of coastline within the Northern Beaches Council region it is up to the community to assist council by reporting every instance where members of the public see inconsiderate members of the community thinking that they are above the law. However I think that Council needs to install more signage advising the community that fishing of specific types of fish and removal of sea life are prohibited and our local courts have to support Council by imposing very high penalties for people not complying with the 'Law"
