I think we miss a lot of zebra crossing in Manly. first it would allow our kids to cross the streets safely, second it would highly reduce the speed of so many cars. I am thinking about the flat before the eastern hill in particular, on the east esplanade, on darley road, on victoria parade, on ashburner street...if you walk down the hill, there is no way you can safely cross streets and get to manly CBD safely. it is only painting the road, why wait? why no one seems to be bothered? do we have to wait for our kids to be hit by a car? where is the common sense?
