Christmas Carols should be held on Manly Oval. It is the appropriate setting for this event, family friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic. Why change such a great community event. In addition, why is Manly Council deliberately making changes to traffic & parking conditions in Manly. The only reason appears to be to make the traffic congestion so bad and limit the supply of car parking spaces, that they force people into the conclusion that a massive car park is required under Manly Oval. Given their mismanagement of other large infrastructure projects, are there any guarantees that they will be able to return the oval to its current state. Or, will they be forced to sell the land to developers to fund their massive debt / black hole. Why not just improve public transport into and out of Manly, a far more efficient and cheaper option.
